Account deletion

You can request deletion of your Cubi account and all associated data at any time, without reinstalling the app. Need a hand? Write to us at hello@cubi.family.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open Cubi, go to Settings, choose Delete account, then follow the confirmation steps.

Option 2 — By email

Write to Cubi at hello@cubi.family from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete account". We may ask one verification step to confirm you are the account holder.

What gets deleted

Your account (email, display name, sign-in method), the baby's profile (name, date of birth, gender, avatar, the word you call yourself by), all saved photos, videos and captions, emoji reactions, your invite list and family-circle details, and your push token.

When

Cubi permanently deletes your data from our systems and databases within 30 days of a confirmed request. A small amount of technical data (for example logs and backups) may be kept a little longer where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and keep the service safe, then deleted too.

Family members (viewers)

Anyone who joined with an invite code can remove their own access in the app, or ask the diary owner to remove it. This only deletes that person's place; it does not affect the parent's diary.
